90-year-old foregoes chemo for trip of a lifetime - Must Watch Video


90-year-old Norma is seeing places she's never seen, like the Grand Canyon and Mt. Rushmore. She's doing things she's never done, like getting a pedicure and riding in a hot air balloon. She's doing all of this instead of chemo and radiation.

Two days after her husband of 67 years passed away, Norma was sitting in her doctor’s office. She had uterine cancer and the treatment options included surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Norma looked the doctor in the eye and said, “I’m 90 years old, I’m hitting the road.”

And that is where Norma’s adventure began.

Norma’s son, Tim, and daughter-in-law, Ramie, had been spending their retirement touring the country in their RV. Instead of living the rest of her life in a nursing home, Norma decided to join them.
