Pierce Griffin's mom, Dee Griffin, told InsideEdition.com the fish, who Pierce named Cupid, was a Christmas present from Santa Claus. But, on unlucky Friday the 13th, Pierce accidentally gave Cupid too much food. Even though she originally considered swapping out the beloved pet before her son noticed, she eventually decided to break the bad news. Pierce is now seen in a viral video giving his dead fish a tearful send off as he and his mom flushed it down the toilet.
