Rare 2-Week-Old Spotted Deer Born At Zoo Stays Close To Mom And Dad In Debut - A Must Watch Video

Zookeepers at the Chester Zoo in England are calling the most recent birth at their facility "a big boost" for the Philippine spotted deer species. The new male fawn has been seen with his parents who seem very excited to show him off. He is just over two weeks old and hasn't strayed far from his parents since being born. According to zoo staff, the Philippine spotted deer, found in the Philippines' Visayan islands of Panay and Negros, is the most endangered deer species on the planet with less than 2,500 left in the wild.
