Get Rid of Gray Hair Naturally With Potato Skins

Whether we like it or not, our hair will change over the span of our lifetime. For a lot of us, that involves developing gray hair. Some may like their hair going gray, some may just feel old.

But, the question of the hour is, why do we go gray and how can we stop it? Stress, unhealthy diet, lack of sleep and genetics can play a huge part in going gray. If you do not like it, you can simply find hundreds upon hundreds of products vowing to do the job for you. If you are unhappy with your hair, know that you can darken your hair over time.

Today we are going to discuss a potato peel rinse, since potato peels have been used to color fabrics and hair for many, many years:

Ingredients:
Five to Six medium to large potatoes
Large cooking pot
Colander
Large bowl
Old shampoo bottle
Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
Towel

What to do:
Remove the peels of five or six medium to large potatoes. Place the peels inside of a large cooking pot. Fill the pot with ½ gallon of water. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat. Allow the peels to boil for 20 to 30 minutes.
Pour the peels through a colander over a large bowl. Save the water and throw out the peels. Allow the water to cool completely before pouring it into an old, clean shampoo bottle.
Wash your hair thoroughly, using shampoo and conditioner. Allow the conditioner to sit for one to two minutes before rinsing it out.

Pour the potato peel water over your hair in the shower.
Repeat this everyday or two to three times a week for several weeks or months. Your white and gray hairs will become less noticeable over time.
