Rare Philippine Mouse Deer Born At Zoo Is The Size Of A Christmas Ornament - A Must Watch Video

The Chester Zoo announced the birth of a rare Philippine mouse deer as part of its endangered species breeding program. She is the first to be born in the United Kingdom and is about the size of a Christmas ornament. Mouse deer are hunted for their meat but conservationists are fighting hard to keep them around. Found in forests in Asia, they are one of the smallest hoofed animals in the world, threatened by deforestation.
