A bear and her cubs have been enjoying a refreshing cool-down at the Oakland Zoo, where the babies were seen digging and fighting through a mound of ice with their mom. There were also ice blocks for the cubs to inspect and entertain themselves with. The mother was set to be euthanized about a month ago by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife after swatting a homeowner in Kern County, but will now be taken in full-time by the zoo.
