I wanted to be the ultimate wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and teacher. But each night, when my charade of perfection and professionalism was over, I wept. I wept because I was scared of what I couldn't control. But Christ brought me under his control. Through the blood of his cross I have a peace that surpasses all understanding. There are no more "What-if's" in my future. There is just Christ and his perfect plan. Now my identity is in Christ.
