Surgeons At This Children's Hospital Fix Patients And Their Stuffed Animals - A Must Watch Video

When kids come in for surgery at this hospital, their stuffed animals also get treated. Recently 9-year-old Ryan went in to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for his eighth surgery. His favorite Monsters Inc doll, Mike Wozowski, was there with him every step of the way. The surgeon, Dr. Travis Groth, noticed Mike needed some fixing too, so he performed a 'surgery' to stitch up his loose threads and keep his stuffing in. The hospital says treating patients' toys helps them feel less alone.
