9-year-old Emma Burkhart has been able to rally her community to collect blankets for kids to help them stay warm this winter. She got the idea last year when she was gifted two of the same blanket and wanted to give one away. She figured others could use blankets too and started the "Keep Kids Warm Blanket Drive" in her town of Durant, Oklahoma. Local businesses served as drop-off points for the drive and helped Emma collect 200 blankets! This year she's set a loftier goal: 350 blankets.
