For the first time, a sea turtle went through an MRI machine instead of a human. The animal, named Homeslice, had been injured by a boat propeller and was taken to Brevard Zoo in Florida. After months of recovery, Homeslice was taken to Health First Medical Group to see if her spine was healthy enough to be released into the ocean. To check, she was put through a human MRI machine, never before used by an animal.
