World Oceans Day was certainly a celebration for two sea lion pups who got to go back home after being rehabilitated. The Marine Mammal Care Center in Los Angeles says the pups were found last month dehydrated and malnourished. They were also all alone without their mother during what is typically their nursing season. Rescuers believe she may have left them behind to search for food.
